Our community here on Patreon is growing. I know some of you prefer to support quietly, and some of you prefer more conversation and discussion. I am just glad you are all here! I want to take a moment to make sure that the experience of being members in this community is rewarding for you. I know you're here to support and celebrate my work, but now that you're on Patreon, you're family. I want to be a good host, and I want to make this an exciting journey for all of us! (How many metaphors can I mix in this paragraph? We'll find out!)
What do you like best so far about this Patreon community?
Are you enjoying the "Behind the Scenes" posts?
What would you like more of (if anything)?
Just take a moment to answer, if you would. Constructive criticism, praise, any response is welcome. Just let me know! To take my fiction where I want to take it, I'm going to need to fund some big projects these next few years (of which the Silver Edition is the first). To give you a tiny hint: a renowned graphic novel artist and I are in early talks about possibly (next year) crowdfunding a graphic novel adaptation. What all that means is that I'm going to be driving hard to grow this community. In purely practical terms, I'm going to need numbers, and I'm going to need funds. We have big places to go, and I want you all to go with me.
But on purely personal terms, whether we have 119 people or several hundred in this community, I started this Patreon membership to connect with you -- fans, readers, and supporters of my work, and co-adventurers on my family's journey. That's what is most important to me. Not only do I not want to lose sight of that; I want Patreon to continue to be a personal connection and a very fun experience for this whole community.
That's why I'm throwing open this space to offer any feedback you have!
Thank you so much for being a part of this. You are the extended Litore family, and I am so glad that you are here!
And, of course, go tell friends! Invite people to this community who would love it. Because we ARE going to grow. And we are going to do some amazing projects together.
