Coming up over the next few weeks you are going to be seeing some changes over on my YouTube channel (also a little on social media).
The first of which is a new branding style. In the past I was chickenparmi, which was my gamer name, then I made a site called Duino-Robotics to reflect what I was doing at that time. As time progressed I wasn't doing much with Arduino anymore so I decided it was time to drop the 'Duino' and name my new robotics site under my own name, Edwards Robotics was born. Up until now it has been Edwards Robotics but again, my content is changing and so will my branding.
Recently I have gotten into many other areas of making aside from robotics, robotics will always be my favorite, but things like 3D models, cosplay and little electronic projects are all things I've started doing more of.
To reflect this change I have decided that no website name can encompass all the things I want to do, so for that reason I am just branding it all under my own name.
You will have noticed that all the avatars and banner images on social media have been changed to reflect this. My video style will change also. I am looking into getting new editing software, more video equipment and doing a lot more graphic and editing work to create videos that I am very proud to upload.
I have been experimenting with different styles lately and you may have noticed. These involve being myself rather than putting on my 'teacher' hat. Quick jump editing to keep things short, sharp and interesting and I've been adding in my weird sense of humor also.
I hope to go out into the community and do interviews, show off making in the real world and also create lots of little projects anyone can do at home, plus larger projects utilizing the tools and equipment I have available and perhaps sponsor items.
I am currently looking at moving out but cannot yet afford it. I am still on the lookout for full time work and once I get it, I will move out and create a studio space in one spare bedroom. I hope this will help me finally create a permanent video space that is ready to record in 24/7 and divide my videos from my bedroom (as currently there is video gear all over my floor). I've found that separating the two leads to a much more productive and happy experience so that is what I'm aiming for.
Thank you to everyone who has been supportive of my content and I look forward to showing you what I have in the works for the future.
Bye for now!
