Cows will never experience independence from human keepers. 

Their free ancestors, the aurochs, went extinct in the seventeenth century, when a human shot the last one. 

So forget the farm animal rights movement, or the farm animals’ bill of rights. In all honesty these concepts are hogwash. 

No category of animal agribusiness is reliably worse or better than another. 

All of it is based of forcing other animals, whose ancestors were free beings, to submit to us.

The ethical approach to animal husbandry is conscientious objection.
