It's been a weird day and I'm trying to finish it.  I have already been interrupted while writing this, for what might be called a "minor medical emergency", but that's not something to describe.  Meanwhile I like the idea that in today's episode, Old Verses New; Chapter 87, Kondor 71, Joe closes the case by opening the case.  You'll get it if you're following the story.

I remembered the bit that I forgot, and it was supposed to go into yesterday's post about simple songs.  C. S. Lewis somewhere commented that one of the values of the liturgy was that he had it memorized and didn't have to think about it to distract him from worshiping God.  That's what's happening with simple worship songs, too.  But I published that one already, and while I like that connection it's not worth republishing.

I have another in the pipeline, but today is just too weird for me to get to it.
