Cool things are happening....

Here: have a photo of the cool (really, cold) blue waters of the Nile's First Cataract at Aswan, which I'm thinking desperately about while I broil in an unexpected Portland heat wave....

This Patreon is doing very well, thanks to all of my amazing patrons who are providing the funding for me to do this work. I am so excited to be able to put daily time toward writing things about Egypt for people who want to read them.

I've posted daily calendar updates for those who are interested in the ancient Egyptian festival calendar and its holidays. I've also shared a couple of sneak peeks of some work that I'm doing elsewhere, with more to come on that soon.

Last night, about a dozen people got together with me in a chat for our Sau magic course. That was also great fun. Good questions were asked and we got some time to get to know each other a little bit better as we begin that process. There's plenty of room for more people, and Sau students will get to use that chatroom any time they like as well!

If you're considering joining us, much more content will start appearing in July, when the Patreon officially goes live (payments for everyone didn't really start in June because I was slow on setting up, so most of my patrons will not be charged until July 1). I'm looking forward to this experience, and I hope that you will come along for the journey!
