The Cremation of Sam McGee
This 3D stereoscopic (anaglyph red/cyan glasses needed) is my latest effort. Most of the source material is public domain (in the US anyway, Robert W. Service died in 1958, so his poetry has some copyright left in the UK death of author + 70 years, but not Canada, NZ, Australia, where 50 years rules.) The stereographs are mostly from the late 19th century. Scott Joplin's The Entertainer was published in 1902 and the performance was recorded from a piano roll. The northern lights footage is by Adam Sebire, of the Vertical Film Festival, used by permission, and the huskies howling was recorded by Daniel Simon (creative commons attribution).
