Danielle Morgan Brings Abbey Road To The Blitz
How many of us have spent countless hours pouring over the image of The Beatles crossing Abbey Road? Made famous by the Fab Four simply by walking from one side of the street to the other. In doing so, forever making  that crosswalk, an iconic destination. Well, hand raised, I was one of those kids who had a copy of that album and I did stare at it for hours on end. And oddly enough, when I was in London it never occurred to me to go and do what millions have done to this day. Bucket list item number 8,597.

Well, UK singer/songwriter,  Danielle Morgan, has not only crossed the street, once graced by John, Paul, George, and Ringo, but she's climbed the steps and gone into the world-famous studios used by so many of the biggest names in the recording industry, to create some magic of her own;  her first album,

"The Abbey Road Sessions."

Recently, our station was contacted by Kellie Leigh, the woman behind the community magazine, "Lov3rz" dedicated to music, fashion, makeup, film and television. Kellie, informed us, she had an artist that would be soon releasing her first album and would we be interested in sharing with our fans an advance listen of the track, "No Trace of You." The moment I heard Danielle's voice begin singing the lyrics, "Some day when it's over" I instantly got chills down my arm. A voice that was as resonant as the iconic sound of Grace Slick's opening for "Somebody To Love" is what came to mind. I was hooked.

Since then, I have had the privilege to chat with Danielle each day via Twitter, Facebook and yes even Instagram. Currently in Dubai, Danielle, with her manager, John Merrigan, have been working hard to bring to the world her album, "The Abbey Road Sessions." I asked Danielle, how was it recording there? Did you feel the presence of the Beatles? She kindly related that it was an amazing experience and vows to never record anywhere else. She was even kind enough to invite yours truly if I can find a way to make it London, next time she's in the studio! Talk about a dream come true!

Speaking of dreams coming true, in this month's issue of "Lov3rz" you can read all about Danielle's journey to Abbey Road, which is an amazing story I highly recommend you take the time to do.

As The Abbey Road Sessions prepares to release to the world this month, on June 16th as a matter of fact, pre-orders already have the album ranking at 2,481. That's out of six million records. Congratulations Danielle! We're so excited, AND, we look forward to one day watching you record in the studio where four unknown lads from Liverpool, took the world by storm.
