Dawn of a new game
Playscii has reached the point of being a solid enough base for me to start working on my game, and that's mostly what I've been doing this month!  I've decided to start doing videos to document this work - initially I wasn't sure how much of my game I wanted to show to the world before announce, but came to the conclusion that a proper announce trailer that introduces the game's title, story, premise etc is a pretty different thing from dev update videos where you see a character running around etc.  I feel like it'll be fine to talk about implementation stuff, mechanics, and art without spoiling the game's eventual reveal.

In this first video, I talk about the challenges I'm facing with multi-class art/design/programming work, and finding ways of working in ASCII (animation in particular) that I can become confident with.  In some ways that gear-switching has made for the toughest month of being solo yet, but I'd rather experience this now and learn from it sooner than later.
