DC-10 and 747 Supertankers Reloading to Fight California Fires
Here's a good video that shows a DC-10 and a 747 up close as they're being reloaded with retardant and refueled. Both are based this week at the McClellan Airport and are being used to fight the Camp Fire in Northern California, which is now the deadliest fire in California history. In the past 12 days, the Camp Fire has incinerated more than 11,700 homes, killed 77 people and left 991 missing.
