Desert Backyard Permaculture Design Part 7: Citrus Trees, Shade, and Baling Wire
The hot temperatures are already coming to the Valley of the Sun, with highs in the low 90's, so I needed to set up some shade cloth over the newly planted garden to protect the tender plants.  I then planted the rest of the small bushes around the yard, as well as the last two trees, a lemon and a tangelo.  Finally, I installed a wire trellis along the block walls to support the grape vines as they grow.  The planting and irrigation is now all finished, and only a few steps remain before the project comes to an end.
