Devlog 10: A mishmash of updates!
So we're back from San Francisco after showing the game off at Day of the Devs, which went really well I think!

People would sit and play our demo for way longer than we anticipated so that's probably a good sign. We got to meet a lot of really cool folks and check out some seriously impressive games.

Our composer Slime Girls did a live set at the event that blew us away. 

We've been decompressing a bit since we got home and trying to get a lot of work done on the game. We've not been showing our progress off much lately on social media since it takes a lot of time to put stuff out there and a lot of the work that's being done is in code which doesn't show well in gifs and stuff.

That said, I have been doing some visual content that I'd like to share with you all, like new interiors, characters, and shops.

This is the new furniture shop I just made that we're probably going to call Tysoot, which stands for "Things You Sit On and Other Stuff". I ran a poll with a few names Ben came up with but we didn't like the results so WE IGNORED THEM and went with our favourite.

Elsewhere in Badgetown, I added in a little police station/sheriff's office type thingy where Officer Gloffum lives and works. It's accessible from inside the Town Hall. There's no jail cell door because that sort of thing isn't needed in Oob.

We've also been doing a lot of work on Nullwhere with a fun little script involving cultists. There are a bunch of new NPCs for it:

I think you'll get a kick out of it all.

We changed a bunch of things in the clothing shop which I'll probably go into more detail on in another post.

Just today I created the interior for the café which we'll likely be calling Rohz'z Café. It serves beanjuice and spressy drinks.
