I made these in my suddenly working again oven. The temperature is even wonkier than usual, but I was monitoring, so pulled them out before they got too brown. I wish I could figure out what makes the oven just quietly shut down. Anyway! Made the dough in my bread machine. 1/4 cup warm water 1 cup room temp milk 3 TBS melted butter 1/4 cup sugar (or other sweetener, I think. I want to try it with honey) 1.5 tsp salt (garlic salt if you want them garlicky) 1 packet or 2.25 tsp active dry yeast Melted butter or other glaze as desired when they are baked. Make the dough in your machine. Turn out and shape rolls, making them a uniform height. These were about 1.5" Place on a parchment lined sheet or in a pan like this, leaving space around them. Let rise in a warm, covered place for about a half hour. Bake at 350 for 12-16 minutes, or until golden brown. Brush immediately with your melted butter and add toppings if desired. They're still good on day two if you wrap them up overnight. They reheat in a microwave beautifully, since they're supposed to be soft.
