DIY Gear: Sigma DP1m shutter sync project
Last week I made a little more progress with the Sigma project. As is typical under a regime of Murphy's law, access to the outermost components, and the components most likely to need servicing - i.e. the shutter button and its circuitry - will apparently require complete disassembly of the entire camera. And as can be seen, I'm about halfway there.
A detailed blog post will give instructions on how this work was done, once I am a little closer to knowing that it will actually be successful. I'm not yet at that point.
