We like to do things a little different so the conventional "Your gonna have to grin and bear it" advice isn't going to work. Here are just a few things that you can do to reduce the stress projecting from the A-Hole in the corner and get through your day:
1. Got straight to the source and Get it off your chest: Seriously. Your not gainfully employed so your boss can make you feel like you work at romper room. Our advice: Cross your T's, Dot your I's and tell the bosshole to back-off. Now don't go into the office of doom if your work ethic and work history is less than stellar because you'll look like an idiot. But if you have your ducks in a row there is no reason in the world you can't sit down with your boss and let him know how you expect to be treated. Nobody is better that anybody else.
2. Vent; Verbally and Physically: You can speak your peace but only with a co-worker or someone you trust like a family member. Instead of coming home and yelling like Godzilla sometimes all you need to do grab a nice cold brewski (or whatever you like) and vent to your spouse and you'll feel much better.
Now we don't recommend physically attacking your bosshole. Even though you would love to challenge them to a cage match we don't want to encourage any physical harm......However maybe you can hit the gym or go for a run. You'll probably break a few personal records and we know you'll feel like the "eye of the tiger" when your done.
3. Take a Stress Management Day: AKA the sick day. We also call them mental health days. Maybe you can sit down and think "Do I really earn enough money to be treated like some unsupecting victim in a cheesy horror film" (again watch our video, bosshole categories). Maybe you can look for another job or come up with a game plan to start your own business. Oh and make sure you take your stress management day on a Monday or Friday, that will really piss the boss off!
