Hope you're keeping well.
I was just scanning in some of the past two months of doodles from the "margins" of my printer-paper notes (I quote "margins" because they actually tend to be the most dominant thing on the page, ha) and thought to share some of them.
Some of these were doodled while I was listening to a podcast about adult ADHD/ADD (something I'm eagerly learning how to manage in my life, as I've recently discovered that I'm not alone in my neurology!); others while listening to music to try to calm my nerves; others while in a meeting; and some while digesting a meal.
Most of these were drawn with a 3B Staedtler pencil-- one of my favourite mediums. I love how easy it is to create different gradients and blend the pencil lines together to create a smooth shade.
Maybe you'll find some time to doodle this week? I find it very therapeutic, and it provides a great opportunity to take time away from the screen.
I know it's "inktober" right now, so that's also a nice way to get sketching-- start with the prompts and get the juices flowing. I guess my sketches aren't in ink so they're not technically part of inktober, but maybe... #graphitetober?
I have thoughts to try making digital versions of a few of these for fun on the tablet, work up some weird character drawings and colour them in...
Ok, that's all for now. More in the future!
Happy Thanksgiving y'all,
