If It Quacks Like A Trump
This cartoon, silly as this sounds, was inspired by the rubber duckies my sister keeps on top of her toilet. I was standing there doing my business and this one just popped in to my head. So, thanks, Allison!

It's become almost routine for Republicans, especially in Congress, to distance themselves from Trump immediately after whatever the new Trump-outrage-of-the-week is. And, actually, that's pretty common just chatting with everyday Republicans. But when it actually matters - when it's not just words, but a vote for a bill (or for a candidate) - virtually the entire party are in effect Trump loyalists. It's frustrating, to say the least.

I'm pretty happy with the drawing on this one. This was such a simple idea, but in a way the simple ideas create an opportunity to do more complex drawing than I'd normally do, adding in a lot more detail than I could fit into the tiny panels of a six-panel cartoon. I hope you enjoy it! :-)

I'm posting this on Patreon a few days before I post it in public, as a thank you for everyone supporting my cartoons. You all make these cartoons possible! And if you're supporting at the $5 or above level, please feel free to start sharing the cartoon immediately.
