She was going to go. She knew it would be a wonderful, beautiful experience that would be something to look back on, something to remember as one of the more important things that she was ever a part of. But it wasn't to be. Two days before her family left for the big event, she broke down. Again. As she always did. No matter how much she wanted to go, her subconscious—her damned depression—had its teeth in her and wouldn't let go. And so she stayed, sorrowful and helpless.
