Electro Brand, 2003

I think this album did manage to create a snapshot of 2003 for me.  It was really cold at both ends of the year, solitary, almost like everything was desynchronized in a way.  But it wasn't all necessarily bad, just weird.  Most changes in life, the people you're around, the things you do, are gradual and organic, but that year, it really seemed like the framework of all those machinations were laid bare.

Over the years this has become my favorite of our albums.
