As of the time of this post (10:30pm PST) there are currently no specs on the fabric listed on the EE Copperfield website pages, but 7d fabric for a wind jacket/pants... woot!!
The only spec we have so far is the total weight of the wind jacket, an insane 50 grams [1.78 oz] for the standard medium. That beats out the Zpack Ventum wind jacket at 57 grams [2.01 oz] for a medium.
At this time it looks like there are three color options (far right): "Salmon Orange", "Graphite" and "Midnight Blue".
There is a price increase for this fabric too. Going with the 7d takes the price from $110 to $125, over the 10d and 20d fabrics. This price difference makes sense, after all, not exactly all that many companies that have 7d fabric. Gotta be a pretty penny for a roll of this fabric.
Let us hope that over the next few hours EE updates their website to include CFM and other specs on this new fabric option!
Just a matter of a few days ago I published my one-year of use thoughts on this wind jacket. Looks like it is going to be getting an update once EE release some specs.
EE has now released some specs on the fabric:
Weight: 0.50oz per yard²
