A great starting point to better our understanding of self is to start to explore the direction and tools we can utilize in creating a healthy self-image.
The well-known author and psychologist Dr. Joyce Brown says, “An individuals self-concept is the core of his or her personality. It affects every aspect of human behavior: the ability to learn, the capacity to grow and change, the choice of friends, mates, and careers. It’s no exaggeration to say that a strong positive self-image is the best possible preparation for success in life.”
The problem is we are constantly tuning into the static station, we can’t help but be bombarded with so many different negative outlooks. It's time to turn the dial to a new station, one that will focus our attention on the progression, the succession, and the betterment of each one of our lives.
