Ex Oblivione rhythm-test...
One of the Lovecraft stories I intend to illustrate is the underrated prose-poem Ex Oblivione. When doing an illustrated poem, the most important thing is how you break the text into a rhythm that reads well with the images. I usually just read it aloud for myself, but this time I recorded my reading of the broken down text. I intend to listen to it some while planning the illustrations, so I put some background music so it becomes less boring. And... it came out pretty well, so I thought I'd share it with the world. (The intention with this is not pronunciation or acting, just rhythm). Music by Solheim/ Shaman of Noise. Buy/listen to his album here: http://solheim.bandcamp.com/releases
