Paid for by patrons
I realize this is the second posted poem in a row that deals with themes of desert pilgrimage and penitence. It's just one of my favourites from what I've written this week, and I wanted to share it here.

On a side note, I am aware that, grammatically speaking, my use of the word "exorbitant" doesn't exactly work, but I feel that, with Poetry especially, there must be room for Artists to meddle with wordplay, even going so far as to invent words, which I confess I've also taken to doing more and more as of late.
