In February I posted three separate collections of my top books from 2016, plus I deal-hunted the Kindle book deals for February.
If you're going to read one book I read in 2016, make it The Authoritarians, by Bob Altemeyer.
Here's an excerpt from my review:
It’s a superb, lay-accessible summary of Altemeyer’s research on the authoritarian personality. Unlike most researchers in this area, he focuses on authoritarian followers as well as leaders, e.g. why do people support despots? Exceptionally timely, exceptionally relevant, and available for free as a PDF.
