A Few Changes to YouTube/Patreon.
I'm still new to this consistent YouTube thing.

I'm trying to decide how I want to proceed with uploading schedules and I'm learning as I go. Trying new things and seeing what works. For a while the batches of videos worked out great! Most of my viewers reached out to me on twitter and said they prefer when the videos come out all at once (in batches!) because they want to watch all 3 in one day or decide for themselves when to watch them when it's most convenient for them. Now that I have a few more people watching, I put up a poll on twitter and asked if they prefer I keep the same release schedule or spread the videos out over the week. The overwhelming consensus was to spread the videos out over the week. This allows for you, the viewer to be reminded of each new upload over the week instead of once on a random day and makes it so you don't feel like you're behind on videos as soon as they've been posted.

It was a no brainer that I could still post all videos at once, just keep them private and post them to Patreon in a Patron-only post. So if you want the whole batch in one day, all I ask is you pledge a minimum of 1 dollar for that batch. Or if you don't care that much, just wait until the next day to get the next episode! Simple, right?

I'm going to get someone saying "I can't believe you're hiding your content behind a paywall!!" "UNSUBSCRIBED" "CANCELLED MY PLEDGE"

But all it really is, is the people that chose to support me through Patreon are probably more likely to want to watch it all in one day.

And lastly after the third day when all 3 videos in the batch are up, I will make the post public instead of patron-only which means if you're patient nothing really changes : )

Anyway, thanks again for all your support! Patreon is really helping YouTube become a viable option in the future for me. I couldn't be happier that you guys are coming with me on this crazy journey. See you later!
