Fishing proves difficult
Fishing was difficult today: too much current. I fished the lower part of the Black Warrior River. I treked eight mile up stream, given that my motor maxes out at 10 mph, eight miles takes a little while. This went against the basic principle I teach: Fish close to where you put in, and fish close to the the dam.

I've found that my best fishing takes place within two miles of the dam. This trip served to reinforce that principle.
