Five New Songs! Death, Lies, and The Art Of Stealth!
Hey everybody!  Well, the old songwriting muscles are starting to kick into high-gear.  I have five new songs for you.  And I think some of them are pretty damn good.  Of course, you'll have to judge for yourself. But, if this is what I'm coming up with in the first couple weeks of writing, I'm pretty excited to see what I'll be churning out in a month's time.

Download them here....  (so you can listen to them while you read.)

So, because of David Bowie's death.  And Alan Rickman's death.  And Lemmy's death.  And basically, all the people that seem to have decided to use the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016 to kick the bucket, I sorta had death on the brain while I was writing these tunes.  So, that's one of the themes you'll definitely pick up on.   Fortunately, in typical Mike TV style, they're still pretty catchy tunes.  Because, you know, I like people singing along to words that they'd probably never say out loud normally.   Ha!

Also, I've been getting pretty tired of my news feed and Facebook feed and all the sanctimonious people and all the lying candidates all the divisiveness and rancor and vitriol.   And so that frustration sorta leaked into a couple of these songs.  But,  I still think there's a couple of really good ones in the mix.  I hope you agree.

As I expressed before, these are still pretty rough.  Not as rough as last week's.  As I'm getting back into songwriting form, my ear starts crying out for additional arrangements.  So, these songs have a few bells and whistles.  And I'm certain as the months go on, the songs will get more fleshed out.   But, I still think they work pretty darn well with just acoustic guitar and some vocals.

Okay, that's it.  I love you all.  If you can help spread the word about this Patreon thing, I would really appreciate it.  I am going back to music full time.  Which means that my income is suddenly going to be greatly diminished.  Again.  And I'm not going back.  I either work out a way to make a living writing my own music or I die trying.   If I'm tilting windmills, well, engarde windmills!

I love you all.
