THIEF OF ALWAYS (a song sequence from an unfinished feature film)
This storyboard is done with traditional tools including pencil, brush marker and tonals all done in progresso pencil. Back before we started using digital tools. The first panel on the first page is by Steve Whitehouse who boarded the first half of this song.
For mothers day, my mother's storyboards from The Thief of Always
So in case you didn't know, my mother is an accomplished artist, who's worked in animation and film since I was 8 or so. I thought for mother's day, it would be fund to post some of her work, and these boards are especially nice. These are for a song sequence from an unfinished feature film [this production was canceled], the adaptation of 'The Thief of Always'. Some nice work, and I thought given a couple of my Patrons here are or have studied storyboarding, this might be of interest from that point of view. Arna is an extremely accomplished boar artist and in the past has taught the subject at Sheridan College as a visiting professional instructor. https://laselznick.wordpress.com/2014/04/08/thief-of-always-a-song-sequence-from-an-unfinished-feature-film/ more about my mom, can be found via these links. https://laselznick.wordpress.com/ http://www.dancingmonkeys.com/ArnaBoards/ArnaStoryboardPortfolio.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arna_Selznick http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0783676/
