Forgone (poem)

A forgone conclusion

Is not unlike

A forgotten contusion

The mist of memory

Fading out like

The loss of clarity

A future, despondent

Tomorrow

But a figment

This cavernous yawn

Swallows me

Whole

Decayed, petrified

Without a

Soul

Digested, not unlike

Limestone

Just have a bite

The flavor, is it

Something

You like?
