This eclectic medley is an alternate for the Benedictus in EDM REQUIEM II.

Kind of like an extra scene in the "extended version" on BLU-RAY or something, right?

Well, this started life as inspired by Mozart's Benedictus from his Requiem. But then, it started to get funky...

Well. I think that's to be expected when EDM REQUIEM is all about putting the "funk" in missa pro defunctis!

Yes, it's about to get funky in here! Starting with the illustration that inspired the final creation: fleurs du mal, the poems by Baudelaire as drawn by Carlos Schwabe.

The groove just kept growing! What started as a peaceful sojourn of blessings at eighty beats per minute ended up escalating, and escalating, and escalating, and…

I'm not sure if this will make the final cut, as I didn't plan exactly for this type of melodrama between "Holy Shirt" and the soon-to-be-remastered "Lambchop"?

So, the boss is going crazy and giving away the store? In other words, have some free music! And let me know what you think!
