Fractally Fooled
A playlist of fractal movies with an audio-reactive treatment.  Audio is outtakes from Who's Next.  No ownership rights are intended and audio is included only to give the video something to react to.  Does this pass the test of the Central Scrutizer?

This project uses several fractal movies which have been organized into a playlist. Each movie is about thirty seconds long. I am learning to use these and similar movies as textures projected onto surfaces of 3-d models or virtual reality.

Here are some ways you can support me in this exploration . . .

Made with bits and bytes and imagination and play and wonder and awe.  No bits or bytes were harmed in this process, and there is still an abundance of play and wonder and awe available . . . .

Behind the scenes  . . .

This was made with the Jitter functions of the MAX/MSP7 software.  A patch to create and record your own combinations with a collection of ten sample fractal videos can be found below  . . .

Fractal movies were created with Frax - The First Realtime Immersive Fractals http://fract.al/ . Audio From Who's Next outtakes.

No spirals were harmed in this creation. Bits, bytes, iterations of process and time, numbers, both imaginary and real, and awe for beauty were the raw materials. Whatever that means.

The ZIP file below has the Max/MSP patch and ten sample fractal movies. Use them to create and save your own combinations!  Share what you create!   Enjoy and have fun!
