Free signed* Usain Bolt book if you take out annual subscription

Here's the latest special offer for our loyal supporters - a free, signed copy of a book written by the editor of Inside Croydon!

For a limited period, while stocks last, any existing supporter who upgrades their subscription to an annual payment can claim their free copy of Usain Bolt: The story of the world's fastest man, by Steven Downes, published by SportsBooks in 2011.

No longer available in shops or even online, the book charts the meteoric rise of one of the greatest characters in sporting history, the fastest man the world has ever seen, up to the point before the 2012 London Olympics.

It follows the career of the Jamaican gold medal-winner from his earliest international races when a teenager and a junior - Downes had first interviewed Bolt in 2003, at the World Youth Championships staged in Canada - through to the night of his breathtakingly quick 9.58sec 100 metres world record set in Berlin.

This free gift will come signed* - though by the author, not its subject.

And in fairness to those who have already signed up for an annual subscription, you, too, can request your copy of Usain Bolt, as a way of saying "Thank you" for your support so far.

So, if you have a year's subscription or upgrade to a year's subscription and wish to claim your free copy of the book, email [email protected], with "Bolt Book" in the subject header, and provide your address and we'll get a copy off in the post  to you as soon as possible.

But hurry - it's first-come, first-served, and there's only a limited number of the books available.
