I/we live in the wilds of northern New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment. My honey and I live at 8000 ft in a geodesic home we have built ourselves. We live off the gird and build as we can afford it. We collect our own water, roast our own coffee, and use the sol's solar power to drive our lights and internet connect. He, my honey, makes soap and medicinal tinctures, is a tile setter and fireplace builder by trade and a general Renaissance Man. Both of us are super creative and are always trying to find ways of making life a wee bit easier. Working for 'the man' pays the bills and thats all fine and dandy, but I want more out of this life. I want to fund our lives by being creative.

I create pretty much all the time. I create with watercolours, I create with photography. I create when I take those photos and paint beautiful paintings from them. And also when I stretch my photography into the art of textures and such.

I LOVE light.! I love it in photography and I love trying to capture and then recreate it in watercolours. I am always watching how light plays on and around a subject. Light is magnificent and I'm always striving to create the feel and sense of it. Creating light on paper is my biggest challenge. I have lots to learn and that's why you are here, I hope.

I've come across Patreon and and am super excited about this platform of getting monetary help supporting my creation of art. By your monthly donations I can take the time I'm usually spending working outside my creating process to be able to spend that time being creative with my watercolours and photography. A bit about me:
I've been on line since 2008 and I've learned a lot along the way. I have an Etsy shop and some art listed on Society 6. My newest love is Instagram. I've sold my art from all these platforms all around the World. I have paintings in Singapore, Thailand and Spain, I'm in the Netherlands more than once and England many times over. I'm all over Canada and most of the the 50 states of the US too. I adore that when it happens, when I sell something, but I would like to take my art further. I would like to be represented in a gallery. I would love for my designs to capture the eyes of interior designers and art agents that would love to have me in their rosters of artists. Right now I am branching out into watercolour greeting cards. It is such a thrill knowing my art is being sent all around the world by people such as yourself. You might have picked up a card of mine for your brother or maybe a favorite Aunt that loves that subject, or maybe you just love the image and want to take it home and hang it in that sweet little spot that needs a bit of brightness.

I want to take my art to new levels and while doing so I want to share my artistic journey with you. Through this site I will be able to offer you, my patrons, first peeks into my watercolour ideas and creations. Once I figure out the video part of Patreon I will offer how to videos. I will share colors and paper and brush ideas. I will be able to talk about how I plan each painting or what inspired it. I have tons of ideas floating around in my head and not enough time to get them all on paper. My watercolour paintings vary from small 3x5's to really big 3ftx4ft pieces. The big paintings that I long to do, take up lots of space I don't have available right now. (We are under home construction), but I'm hoping that with your help and the wonderful Patreon site I will be able to create a space big enough to house my studio where I can paint big.
