Every day I have been working on preproduction for the Sierra On-line classic Gabriel Knight, and one of my personal favorites. The scientist in me, hates taking shortcuts and not researching/experiencing things first hand. There have been some serious considerations and developments going on for this review. One of them being a trip to New Orleans.
Is such a trip necessary for a video game that in reality never existed in any of those places, but nevertheless those places play an integral part of said game? The corollary in me believe so, and the scientist in me also concurs. But am I going to far?
