GaMetal - Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom ~ Nuclear Fusion (Touhou Chireiden ~ Subterranean Animism)
The first Touhou cover has arrived!

The Touhou series has a ton of awesome songs, and Nuclear Fusion is among my personal favorites. I figured this would be a much better choice than the super obvious UN Owen Was Her cover that people usually do (no doubt an awesome song, but it's everywhere!). Also it's been on the Patreon Request List for a while so it's always a bonus to get one of those done! :)

This one was pretty hard to arrange. There's a lot of little things going on in Touhou songs. One of the things that ZUN does that's fairly uncommon is the use of harmonized bass lines which is pretty much impossible to make sound right in metal if you were to actually do it with 2 bass tracks, anyways. I was able to make up for it with the second rhythm guitar and some subtle organ.

I also threw a couple of fun things in the video: a short callback to the Revenge of Meta Knight video, and also the Caution! part that immediately follows which was given to me by Xhog, and I also used the drawing (that's also my icon on here actually) that was made by Kelsey Peterson some time ago. If you've played the Touhou games it makes sense. xD

I'm pretty pleased with it! I'll definitely be returning to the Touhou series in the future.

In Patreon and future song news, the next song coming up is the Patreon Request List Drawing winner Warship Noah, followed by the Halloween Special on Monday. I've already got quite a bit done of Warship, so my plan is to have that done by around Tuesday so I can begin working on the Halloween song.

I've also decided that I'm going to let you all decide on the Halloween song with a special Halloween Song Poll! I've chosen some songs from the Patreon Request List that I think would be fitting for Halloween. I'll have that poll up tomorrow and it will end on Monday!

That's all for now, thanks as always for your continued support! You all are the greatest!

PS: I tried my hardest to fit both the Japanese title and English title into the Youtube title but it required a little bit of adjusting xD.
