Generation Loss, 2002
You know when a band makes an album that's super accessible and people say, "that was their best album", there's always the question of what they did or didn't do on other albums to make it unique?

As one of those people, my answer is, "I don't know".  Seriously, no clue.  Didn't do anything different really.  Initially, it was a double solo album Damon and I were making.  His half was, "Commodore 65", mine was "Generation Loss", but both ended up cowritten.
Even so, it intimidated the hell out of me for a few months.  But then I just figured there's no way to mimic success without diminishing returns, so I changed course with "Electro Brand".  And the funny thing is, that's my favorite now.
