While not a natural environement for a mecha by any means, engineers and strategists eventually turned their eye towards the sea, the idea of a one-manned vehicle capable of wiping out larger vessels or mounting amphibious assaults too appealing to ignore. The CHM-01A Aqua Ogo is the first of its kind, waterproof and surprisingly agile in its chosen environment despite being based on its sluggish parent.

It lacks the programming space to take advantage of the CHM-01's Load-Out System, but is capable of using the standard array of weapons. Usually, however, it comes equipped with a unique set of gear suited to its preferred mission role.

The Amphibious Trait confers the following:

A Mecha with the Amphibious Trait ignores all negative effects of moving through water, whether fully submerged or fighting in the shallows. In addition, while fully submerged the Mecha's Handling increases by +2 and its Speed increase by +1.

A Weapon with the Amphibious Trait ignores all negative effects of operaing underwater, but may at the GM's discretion add 2 Setback when used out of water.
