Glinting Stars
The grass was mild and soft as I lay upon it to gaze at the stars. I could count a hundred, maybe even a thousand. I could make out constellations, an ice-cream, a pumpkin and a dog. Memories slowly shifted back into my brain, playing themselves one by one. I smiled, seeing how wide the universe was, and for the first time I realized that life wasn't just physical. It was mental too. I relaxed, rubbing my arms against the grass. I looked down, watching the sea slowly move and wave. Lights shone through the windows on the left, and I smiled again.
