Graffitis and their ephemeral nature
Graffitis are by nature so ephemeral. The quality of the material, their exposure to elements, literally being washed away by the elements, destroyed by the same light that makes them visible to us.

Graffitis are everywhere in cities. If you happen to walk by them everyday you'll end up not seeing them anymore. While there are graffitis that are merely signatures, a lot of them are work of art doomed to go away in a shorter time.

That's what I think about when I shoot graffitis. Like moments and places I might never be able to see them again. A lof of them will never be seen outside the neighbourhood where they were painted (can you imagine moving a wall to preserve it... or the support of a bridge).

So, this week, It's all about graffitis...
