Growing the World of Brylennia
While rummaging through old notes, scribblings, and novel ideas, I found one of my original drawings for Brylennia on notebook paper. The cities and towns have changed, as has some of the geography. It's nice to remember that this novel series started with a simple idea that grew into an intricate world. I'm sure enthusiasts of world-building would relate to that sentiment.

Creating a map for A Thousand Watchful Eyes was an essential part of my world-building and writing processes. The initial steps of creating a map were difficult for me, as I am not a cartographer; however, I still thoroughly enjoyed every step!

As I move forward with The Witch's Uprising and The Staghorn Crown, I've decided to reach out to freelance artists. The goal is to produce a professionally-rendered map of Brylennia and accompanying concept art. I'm excited to say that I have a few prospective artists for concept art. Still, I am looking for the right aesthetic for the map itself.

There are so many channels to navigate, and so many important variables to consider when it comes to picking the right artist for this project. As I work out the details, I'll keep all patrons posted. Who knows, there may be some bonus materials to come!

High-quality downloads of new maps and concept art will be available to patrons as soon as possible.
