Happy Birthday Ms. Crawford
As many of you who follow me on social media know, I have what could be considered as a Joan Crawford "problem". I adore her more than any other actress, I find her life and career fascinating. Was she the best actress? No, probably not. Was she the best mother? Nope again, but I don't think she as bad as she was made out to be. Was she the most beautiful? Yes, yes she was. This was one the most beautiful human beings to walk this earth.

She worked hard at her craft to earn the respect she demanded. she had a lot of respect for others in her line of work that put in the time and had the talent. She could also dance circles around anyone and had gams for days right up until the end of her life.

What does Joan Crawford have to do with the music of Catherine Wacha? Well a lot, first off she was an awe inspiring work horse and though I've never put the same level of effort into my art I strive to put more effort and am always working to be a better songwriter, performer, guitar player and singer. Second, I have a half a dozen or so songs directly or indirectly inspired by both Joan Crawford, her movies and her costars.

I have a few things I need to clear off my plate and then I will begin working on an album inspired by Joan Crawford. No other artist has inspired me as an artists quite like Joan.

So happy birthday Ms. Crawford, wherever you are. I bet you are dancing like hell.
