Hello November!
Well, October passed in a chaotic blur, and we're already well into November (almost a full week in!). Insanity!

The weather has been all over the place, alternating between frigidly cold and blisteringly hot, often within 4 hours of each other, but that's also okay.

I spent a full day of "professional development" (ugh) yesterday at the "Wild Writers" conference in Waterloo yesterday, and that was a great experience. The main thrust of the event was for more "literary" authors than myself (people who are trying to write the next "Great Novel", whereas I'm just trying to tell fun, cool stories... entirely different beasts), but still I managed to pick up some solid advice and talk with a lot of very motivated people. That was nice!

It also highlighted what a lonely job being a writer is, but that's just par for the course, I'm afraid. Oh, and I learned that I'm never supposed to use phrases like "par for the course", or "I'm afraid". ^_^

Anyway! That's it for me right now. I'm going to finish "How to Train your AI" (gotta come up with a better title for that one) in the next week or two, and polish up a few more short stories for online publications. Fun times!

As always, thank you so much for your support!
