I can't just solder right to the multiplexer without things melting, and right now I have it connect to a bread board which works if I don't move. Seeing as the nature of this project is to track movement, a lack of movement is not possible.
Software side I have not gotten started on, but it is really simple. All I have to do is sort the inputs into the proper slots and apply the numbers I get from the hardware to 3d objects representing the hand. I feel confidant that I will have a fully working prototype within this month.
