This is the floor where Dozens of Lolth’s sacred creatures call their home, as indicated by the webbing and egg sacks at the lower part of the floor. The stairs leading up from the first floor reach an elevated platform. This platform is separated from another similar on the other side of this room by other elevated pillars shedding their shade onto the webbings below.
On the opposite platform a great statue of Lady Lolth in her perfect drider form as a magical guardian.
Intruders would need to pass across having to fight off numerous spiders. Flight would be impossible in this room due to the webbing everywhere.
Visitors with permission to go upwards will tread through the pillars easily when the spiders move to spin web-bridges all the way to the platform across. Behind the Drider Statue a levitation magic circle would allow all visitors to levitate to the next level.
