How to Handle Rejection

First off, hope you're all having a wonderful time hanging with your families or friends this Christmas season. I want to encourage you to remember how loved and special each of you are. I think this video is EXTREMELY relevant to this time of year, at least for me! being rejected by people, especially when it's people we love, can be one of  the most painful experiences in the world. Especially when we're putting our true hearts and selves out there, the responses we get have the potential to be to really hurt. In these ind of situations there's gonna be that enemy voice telling you that somethings wrong with you. It's gonna tell you that you're not good enough and that you should never show your true self again because somethings wrong with it.

But you know what friends? That voice is wrong. Knowing our true identities as children of God is what helps us get back up after we get let down. We find our peace in Him, and He will never fail us. His presence is there every second of every day, to remind us that we ARE worthy!

Well, those are my current thoughts on this topic. As usual please feel free to leave questions, stories, comments, or thoughts and we can talk about it :) Also, let me know your favorite Christmas tradition!

Love you!

Merry Christmas :)

Romans 8:15-17

So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.
