I AM JAKE / JEEP FREEKS Inspriation Apr 5 at 11:38
The past 30 days has been a whirlwind of inspiration for my offroad overland hobby that I have been involved with for more than 25 years.

Six months ago a friend referred me to "I AM JAKE" on YouTube.  I was blown away by the quality of Jake's video's, positive attitude, and funny vibe; recollecting on the varied locations, trails, events, etc. that I experienced decades ago we well.

Thinking nothing would happen, I reached out to Jake and offered help for repairs or improvements should he pass through Northern New Mexico, USA.

I have had the great privilege of meeting Annie, Izzy, Ben, and Jake of "I AM JAKE" as they have stayed at my house while we work on upgrades to his jeep and trailer as well as exploring NM, CO, and Utah.

During this time, we went to the Moab Utah's Easter Jeep Safari where I meet Travis and Spencer of "Jeep Freeks".  Again, blown away by a father son team that have developed a unique 'umbrella' website for all things jeep they too have been able to walk away from their mundane day jobs to embrace social entrepreneurialism.

With as many unique offroad projects as I have (usually over 15 vehicles in my yard minimum); they have urged me to take the time to showcase these projects.

My goal is to begin providing content on these unique builds, vehicle by vehicle, highlighting the builds with initial phase peformance options vs cost, products considerations, and even tools of the trade.

Also I am going to try and answer as many questions and take advice on build options in a collaborative effort to create some of the most unique offroad builds, purpose built,  and invite anyone to participate in the builds.

A couple unique projects:

1970 VW bug body on a TJ rolling chassis with 3 link front and 4 link rear suspension.

1967 Jeep Kaiser Gladiator restomod.

...more to come!
