If my current novel were a NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) novel it would officially be done by now, but that's not how this works. A short novel starts around 50K words. While "Cthulhu Dayz" won't be 300K, it won't be a NanNo exercise either, as evidenced by the fact that I still have several chapters to knock out by the end of the week.
On a related note, the page count in that pic is not accurate. I write in single-spaced pages. Industry standard for a manuscript is double-spaced. So really, I've written 264 pages, depending on who's looking at it.
