If You Are Not a Patron, Please Read This...
Hi, I just wanted to make it clear that my entry into Patreon is not a money grab. It's sincerely a place for me to exist on the Internet and document my work. If you can spare a dollar a month, that would be awesome; no judgement if you can't. But here's my point:

Anyone can follow a Patreon account without having to pledge money.

Once you're following a creator (like me, for instance), you can comment on and interact with any public post, just like a paid patron. Here's how...

When you're at the "Overview" tab/page for any creator, you'll see a +FOLLOW button right below the number of patrons. Click it. That's it. You'll be led to a page that asks you how much money you want to pledge, but you can just ignore that if you please.

Yes, you'll need a Patreon account, but that's free. And I believe you'll automatically get email notifications when any creator you follow posts something. (You can adjust that by clicking the "settings" gear icon and then selecting "email settings.")

Money always makes me feel weird and I don't want to alienate the people who have been so supportive on Twitter and Facebook... at least anymore than I already have by leaving those sites. Oh, hell, I guess everything makes me feel bad.

Anyway, here's a video of an eight-year-old girl playing drums to Led Zeppelin's "Good Times, Bad Times." It's so good that it actually made me cry.
