I'll Shoot the Moon
Inktober and Drawlloween day 12!

Today's theme is "moon"...so here's a portrait of the great Tom Waits, styled to represent something along the lines of the ballad "I'll Shoot the Moon"  from the avant-garde musical "The Black Rider: The Casting of the Magic Bullets" that Waits and Kathleen Brennan wrote with William S. Burroughs. It's sort of a Faustian tale, so very Halloween-appropriate.

Also, Tom Waits is appropriate in any situation.
