I'm still alive, I still love you!
Hi, everyone! I hope your winter season is going well so far. We're about to be buried under snow here in Pennsylvania, which means I just got home from the obligatory gluten free cookie stockup run.

I'd like to apologize for the rather abrupt absence these past couple of months. Mr. GFH has been dealing with some pretty serious health issues, and the stress of that and taking care of him has made it hard for me to update regularly. It doesn't help that I put a lot of pressure on myself to perform, and if I can't perform up to my (sometimes stupidly high) standards, I end up shutting down and doing nothing. I've been doing a lot of shutting down lately.

BUT! Things are slowly getting better, and I've worked out an editorial plan that I think will make everything here at Gluten Free Hack a little easier.

In order to save my sanity a bit, I'm committing to posting only four new blog posts per month: one recipe, one restaurant review, one product review, and one foraging post. Anything extra will be shared with my patrons here on Patreon.

Speaking of foraging, I do have a fun new project I'm excited to share with you all! This year, I'll be putting out a foraging calendar page every month. It will be a hand-illustrated (by me!) record of some of the best forageables available for that month. Everyone will be able to download it, but patrons get it early! At the end of the year, we'll have a neat calendar we can use again and again, and we might even be able to do a small print run. The plan is to start posting calendar pages on February 1, if I can get my stubborn old scanner to work.

Otherwise, please feel free to keep up with me on Facebook and Instagram. I do a lot of quick, fun little posts on those platforms, and I'll even reply to your comments!

Thank you for sticking with me. Your support of the Gluten Free Hack means more than I can express!
