after a long absence due to work and misadventures I'm back!
Patch of the day: I've created this little masking tool abstraction for images and videos.
It works with GL objects, so it's better fed with a texture than a matrix.
You can use the mouse to mask the portion of the image you want to see, and then output the image masked or only the mask itself as a black and white texture.
Commands:
Click + drag: draw
Shift + drag: scale brush
Ctrl + drag: delete
Install:
unzip the folder into the packages folder of Max in Documents.
That's it, very simple. Maybe you can find it useful!
